A large male whale shark, up to 8 meters long and weighing up to 8 tons was captured by fishermen in southeast China's Fujian province early Sunday morning, just three days after a similar female whale shark was caught and slaughtered by fishermen in the same local area.
The 8-ton whale shark was caught by villagers in the sea near Beijiao Village, in Lianjiang County of Fujian province.
