January 2007 Update

The following updates, improvements, and fixes were made to the ECOCEAN Library in January 2007:

-Integrated a Java version of the I3S pattern recognition algorithm. The Library now features two pattern-recognition algorithms: modified Groth and I3S.
-Completed a beta version of Interconnect that allows us to more quickly and inexpensively map spots and submit them to the Library. The Interconnect client will be the new tool for spot pattern extraction for remote ECOCEAN Library stations.
-Fixed a 0kb image bug causing Library crashes when web crawlers searched through encounters with failed file uploads
-Cleaned out web.xml to remove old servlets

You may also notice a new look and feel to the Library. Leo Bakx has been doing amazing work to make the Library much more attractive and usable! Thanks Leo!
